An 80 year old male patient was referred to me by his prosthodontist. They wanted the lost tooth extracted, the surrounding area treated, a cyst which had developed removed and importantly the adjacent implant saved.
The X-Rays show severe bone loss between the tooth and implant so the area needed o be rebuild and prepared for a future implant to hold. After extraction you will see the implant is completely exposed on one side.
The video shows extraction of the lost tooth and removal of the cyst, implant disinfection, Guided Bone Regeneration protocol, suture procedure and at the end also shows the picture and X-Ray 10 days after surgery.
